I ordered the Seal mask here at Amazon and then purchased a pair of Seal XP’s at a local dive shop. I figured I could make use of both. It turns out that the silicone skirt on the Seal XP (large size)is about ~ 1cm wider than the skirt on the Seal. I found this out by placing the masks against each other. For myself, the XP gave a much better fit and essentially a perfect seal while the Seal fit was very poor. I ended up returning the Seal and keep the XP. I guess the lesson here is that you really need to try multiple types and see which fits best!

Our family was going on a Disney Cruise vacation to the Bahamas and I needed goggles for all of those underwater activities. I wear contacts and wanted a pair of goggles that would give me a good seal and a wide range of vision. These goggles fit the bill and were very comfortable to wear. I would purchase this type again and plan to buy some for my daughter in the near future.

Seals around the face well, no water came in at all. The tinted lens helped out as the pool I use is very white and sometimes the glare from the lights overhead make it very bright. I have had issues steering clear of other swimmers in the lane. The tinted lens cut out the glare and even sharpens pool features. Great buy!

I usually have a tough time getting a good seal with goggles, but these are very comfortable and don’t leak. I’ve warn them for pool swims and in the ocean for a triathlon and have never run into a problem. I am not trying to break any speed records, so I can’t comment on how the larger size of the goggles affects my speed.
